Bowling Safety
Bowling, like other participation sports, involves a certain amount of risk of physical injury. By participating at our centers, every customer assumes personal responsibility for his/her own safety while bowling. To help ensure a memorable and happy experience for everyone in your group, we would ask that you pay special attention to the following rules and instruct your group accordingly.
- Please DO NOT CROSS THE FOUL LINE. The lanes are conditioned with an oil base product beyond the foul line. It is extremely slippery. If oil gets tracked on the approach, or if a ball needs to be retrieved, please call for assistance.
- Please do not allow food or drinks inside the Bowler’s Area. This is the area around the scoring machine. If there is a spill in the area where you are bowling, please bring it to our attention immediately. If not properly cleaned up, spills can be hazardous to your group as well as to others after you leave the center.
- For safety, please keep all bowling bags & personal items under the tables or chairs and out of the way.
- Please avoid wet areas when wearing your bowling shoes. Should your bowling shoes accidentally become wet, please return them to the Front Desk Reception area for a clean pair.
- Bowling Shoes are to be worn at all times when bowling.
- Bowling etiquette requests that if someone is bowling on either lane to your right or left, that you wait a few moments for the bowler to finish before approaching the lane.
- We ask that each member of your group pay attention to all posted signs and warnings, keep all equipment stored where they cannot cause injury to others, and maintain reasonable control of the bowling ball.
- Please do not loft the bowling ball. Lofting the bowling ball could cause damage to the lanes, and possibly others. Bowling balls will bounce, so please be careful.
